"Support got there eventually"
I had to reach out to jotform support because one of my forms suddenly stopped sending emails properly. The first response was generic, which I guess is helpful if you’ve never used a computer before, but it didn’t really solve my issue.

After a few messages back and forth, they did finally figure out what was going on and explained it well enough for me to get the form working again. To be fair, once they got past the obvious stuff, they were actually useful.

I just wish the replies had been quicker and a little clearer from the beginning. It wasn’t terrible support by any means, but it definitely took the scenic route to get to the answer...

"Way too pricey for what it offers"
I started using it for a handful of forms, maybe around March or April, I can’t remember exactly, and it seemed fine at first. But once I needed more submissions, the price jumped quickly. The free plan feels more like a quick preview than something you can actually rely on.
I’m not against paying for a tool if it’s worth it, but the limits and upgrade pricing just didn’t make sense for what I needed. For basic form stuff, I’ve found cheaper options that do pretty much the same thing.

"Finally, my forms aren’t a daily chore"
I use Jotform with Google Sheets, Slack, and email alerts, it saves me a ton of time. The automations were easy to set up, thankfully, because I really did not want another complicated tool to deal with. Now I’m not stuck copying form responses around all day, which was getting old fast. Very relieved to have it working smoothly...

"About as easy as I hoped for building forms"
I went into jotform expecting something I could figure out without spending a bunch of time learning it, and for the most part, it met that expectation. I’m not exactly a form-building expert, but I was able to drag things around, tweak the basics, and get a contact form finished quickly.
A few settings weren’t where I expected them to be, and the dashboard can feel a little busy at times. Still, compared to what I thought it might take, it was painless and ended up saving me time.

"I wanted to love the form customization, but it’s frustrating"
I’ve been using this brand for a while and wanted to stick with it, but customizing my form was way more annoying than it should’ve been. I was just trying to make it look clean and simple, and the settings felt messy and limited. Basic changes took way too long, which was frustrating because I usually like their tools.

"Jotform has a ton of templates..."
Jotform has a ton of templates, and that’s probably my favorite part. I was able to find forms for almost anything I needed, which saved me a lot of time compared to building everything from scratch.
The design tools are okay, but they can feel a bit clunky sometimes :/ Some templates look really clean and modern, while others feel kind of outdated. Editing things like spacing or colors isn’t always as smooth as I’d like, but overall it still gets the job done.
